sooooo....

one of my incisions still shows no sign of healing. it won't close in the middle or form a scab, and it's three weeks old. it is VERY tender to the touch and periodically sends shock waves of pain thru my body. it's not infected red, it's scar tissue red. i don't have a fever, i've been checking regularly throughout the day just to make sure. we've been cleaning it regularly and trying bacitracin with the dressings. the incision in the front looks almost 100% healed aside from the fat still being a little displaced giving me a little square belly and the muscles are still a little tender.

is this something i should be worried about?

my last follow up was to get the staples out, i'm thinkin' i need to get in there asap tho cuz i don't want all this progress to be thwarted by mrca or some other superbug asshole.

I'd definitely go back to get it checked out.

Figured they would have noticed it was not closed completely, or at least healing well before they removed the staples?

I'm really squicked out by the thought of your back peeping open. *shudder*
