sooooo....

one of my incisions still shows no sign of healing. it won't close in the middle or form a scab, and it's three weeks old. it is VERY tender to the touch and periodically sends shock waves of pain thru my body. it's not infected red, it's scar tissue red. i don't have a fever, i've been checking regularly throughout the day just to make sure. we've been cleaning it regularly and trying bacitracin with the dressings. the incision in the front looks almost 100% healed aside from the fat still being a little displaced giving me a little square belly and the muscles are still a little tender.

is this something i should be worried about?

i honestly couldn't tell you but you should have a follow up with your surgeon soon, shouldn't you?

my last follow up was to get the staples out and it's just kinda been downhill from there.
