so i went to my new psychiatrist today...

his name is boris royak - dr. boris.

i LIKE him. actually LIKE him. he asked what i majored in while i was in college and i couldn't remember the term and said "graphic communication" (it was visual communication design...) and he was like "you mean like foul language?"

points for sense of humor. he's my first psychiatrist with one of those.

anyhow, i'm allowing myself to be re-medicated now that i know i can't handle being meds-less.

what's funny is when i was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder i researched the hell out of the meds and treatments for months and came up with a mixture of topomax and wellbutrin as a suitable med mix. my old psychiatrist who didn't like input and actually DISCOURAGED me from researching because i'm "not a doctor" vehemently denied it would help me in the least.

guess what i was just prescribed, not even saying a word about it to him...

stupid wench.

Sounds like a good one.

I think mine is going to be nice too. Well, she's a therapist, not a psych., but still.

From working in the medical field, I'll have to agree with you - Drs tend to be the most prideful creatures ever. to the poiint of ridonkulousness.
They're very clingy to their DOs and MDs.
Those little letters give them the right to know everything, apparently...
well I say poo on them and their chop shop mentality and overcharging for everything

But, I'm glad you found one that works for you - your last one sounded like a real greasy turd

*fades off*

PS. Beck and I used ear candles last week...it was gross to the max to see all the stuff that is just sitting around in your head. You should try!
Makes you kinda dizzy, though.. but just for a few minutes.
and it's only $4 a pair... a nice comparison to the cerumen extraction Drs. charge $55 + for
.
