so holy crap, i have my very first corporate job. like dress pants and blouse corporate. like company picnic corporate. like VOLUNTARILY WEARING HEELS corporate.

it's still sinking in. i have my own desk. i have my own computer. i need a BRIEFCASE! A FUCKING BRIEFCASE! memos, name plates, big words for small things, cc emails freaking corporate. THEY ARE ORDERING ME AN ERGONOMIC CHAIR FOR MY BROKEN SPINE!

so weird.

so i'm a mortgage broker, specializing in homeowner debt consolidation and refinancing. we get wholesale lenders so we can give out lower interest rates n stuff. not exactly where i thought i would be after a few months of recovering from a complete mental breakdown...

high stress, ultra fast paced competitive blah blah blah

the strangest thing is... i like it

i'm so happy to finally be above poverty level. seriously this is the first time in my life i've been above poverty level. my mother raising us was below poverty level. i've always survived paycheck to paycheck, except when i was a dancer, then i pissed most of my money away on drugs, alcohol and crap i didn't really need.

i can't believe this fell in my lap out of nowhere.
