i am so fucking miserable.

i've had a mind-bending headache since monday night. it's so bad i've thrown up a couple of times. it feels like someone jammed an ice pick into the base of my skull and it shot out my left eye.

sad thing is, i'm afraid to call my doctor because of the way i was treated monday. there might actually be something wrong, but i would put money on them saying that it's fine and yell at me for calling like they did with the pain killers. i've never been afraid to call a physician before. i'm going to try to stick it out a few more days and if it still hurts i might call.

seriously tho. ouch.

file a complaint that you're being treated like an addict when you have a documented medical condition that causes extreme levels of pain.

with the hospital administration first, and with the administration of whoever the doctor is affiliated with assuming it's not private practice. and then yes, the medical board. I'm a fan of creating a big stink if necessary.

it sucks, i had a really good pain clinic that took excellent care of me, but i owe them money so they refuse to see me :(

haha yeah.. I'm definitely not someone who needs their own patient advocate. I'd make a good one as long as I didn't suddenly have a rage moment.

it's YOUR health. they need to be taking care of you. if you have to, make someone call them and pose as a lawyer.

i was thinking of doing something along those lines, like "well my lawyer was reading your hospital's guidelines for treatment, and it says i'm supposed to be comfortable..."
