so the heating system at work began making a horrendous sound last night. in response to this, a repair man came out today. he got there about 6:30. he left at about 15 after midnight.

it turns out that every single one of our heating units has a cracked heat conductor. that's 8 for those who are counting. this means that there's a very real possibility that we have all been exposed to carbon monoxide ever since the heaters turned on. he said that some of them looked like they'd been that way for a while, as in well over a year or so.

i wonder if this has anything to do with my failing health?

from my experiences, i doubt its a cause; but it may have exacerbated things. I'd look at an action with fellow employees dating back to when the heater repair guy thinks it may have started.

our heaters have been on for about a month now. it turns out that one of the pharmacists (the one that spends the most time there) has been having headaches and such. a few other employees have frequent headaches too, so i'm just trying to ask around without causing alarm.
