i think the disk that was herniated in my neck finally tore and blew out. i awoke this morning screaming in pain, like literally, and sobbing. after about an hour of trying to sit up, joey brought me in a vicodin (i threw away all my percocet from the spine fusion cuz i wanted to be off drugs) which barely helped. the doc called in tylenol 3 because i didn't have time to go pick up a script for percocet, so here i am.

something tells me surgery is in my very near future. so not happy about going under the knife again, but i hear cervical spine has a shorter recovery time than lumbar.

why can't i ever get a break!??

oh my goodness, that is so horrible. Even if you have to have surgery again, I hope it helps.

thank you, i do too. i just remember how much better i felt waking up from the fusion and i'm sort of excited to get this done and over with so i can feel my thumbs again.
