making homemade duck soup for a sick ferret, i have to say that cooking organ meat has got to be one of the sickest things i've ever done.

I use a real simple recipe for Duck Soup. My boys eat it everyday.
2 raw eggs
2 jars chicken baby food
2 cups good kibble
2 cups hot water
blend in blender until you've reached your desired texture. (thick/runny)
It works great for my sicky old man.

Nope! The raw egg, shell and all, is very good for ferrets. :o) I do warm it in the microwave for about 20 seconds to take the chill off after it's been stored in the fridge though.
