this bugs me.
i mean, who do sanctions affect really? mugabe is gonna continue on, barely noticing the sanctions. meanwhile, like in india in the early 20th century, the people who rely on trade - probably through said companies and individuals the sanctions are against - are left with even less than they have now if that's even possible.
our government is so flawed. punishment is no substitute for action. ::fumes::
