I'm not a Republican, but I used to be impressed with McCain. Then he started changing all of his stances to cinch the nomination. He went from (accurately) calling Pat Robertson an agent of intolerance a few years ago to being chummy with him now to get more support. When he came out in favor of the "advanced interrogation techniques" being used, when he himself had been tortured, I was shocked. If he is going to change his mind on everything he previously believed in just to get elected, what could he be expected to do after he is elected.

yeah, i don't really dig that type of behavior in someone who intends to run the country. i'm pretty sure that's how we ended up in the mess we're in now...
