my internet got knocked out by the idiot roofers. after 3 days i finally got time warner out here to at least splice me in until they can get shit rewired.

my email has been down for almost 2 weeks. the company i go through has been pinned up all over the internet as scam artists, which sucks because 5 years ago they weren't. apparently i've been bought and sold countless times and now they just fucking blow. they don't respond to service requests. they don't answer their phone and their mailbox is full and can no longer receive messages. check out my whois info. that is a very old address (that i've attempted to update many times) and none of those email addresses or phone numbers were EVER mine. it really sucks because i don't think i'll be able to wrestle my domain away from them, my domain i've had for 5, going on 6 years. i'm going to have to probably just call it a wash and cut off any means of payment when it's time to renew.

i guess it's time to totally put an end to that entire phase of my life (the era i coined razorblade-bubblegum, the era of blacked out binge drinking, the era of the tweakbaby and all the horrible things i had said and done). maybe it's the universe's way of telling me its time to seal the deal. i *am* almost 30 now, maybe it's time to act like an adult.

sorry, i'm all pissy and sick and bummed out. it's been a hard week.

I don't know if you're looking or not, but I've had pretty good service through TopClassHost.com for the last 5 years or so. They're in London, IIRC, so with the time difference support requests can be a few hours, but it's not bad.
