sometimes i look at some of my friends photos on myspace because they're just so pretty. i feel like a stalker because i don't really talk to many people that are on my friends list anymore, but i still think they're pretty.
on an unrelated note - i'm one of those weird people that LOVE winter. i've always lived in the northern parts of the country save for a handful of months here and there. today i saw the most spectacular thing on my way to class. see - i dunno if those of you that don't live here have been keeping up, but we had a hell of an ice storm for the past few days. the neatest thing tho is the way it looks. all of the trees, every branch leaf and bud, every bush, every exposed blade of grass, anything freestanding (including road signs, power lines, fences, mail boxes, hell, even cars) - everything - is totally incased in ice. on top of that we had a light snow fall last night. this morning on the way to class everything was shimmering. the whole world looked like it was made of glass, the sun was shining so brightly off of it. on the way home from class it was all starting to melt (it's a little warmer today). it was like driving in the rain, yet it was sunny. it was so cool. the encasements that were clinging to the power lines were dropping off in meter long chunks and shattering on the ground into hundreds of tiny little shimmering pieces. it was just one of the coolest winter sights i've ever seen.
