i need some help.

i've started recording my lectures for school because my hands cramp up too bad to take extensive notes. the problem is that the recorder records in .voc format, which is not mac friendly. does anyone know of a mac program that will convert to a more mac-friendly format?

if not, will someone trade me my voice recorder for an .mp3 recorder?!

I have one of those recorders. I had to install Parallels onto my Intel Mac to use the damn thing. If you have Office 04 for the Mac, they have a voice recorder built into that (assuming you have a portable). Otherwise, if you have an iPod they make a little device you can plug into that and use as a voice recorder. I'll see if I can get some pricing on that if you're interested.

the ipod thingy seems like a good idea. i'll have to look into the parallels program. i hate to think i paid $40 bucks for a voice recorder for nothing :P
