wtf is wrong with the world when elderly people have to resort to this because they can't afford the healthcare they need and are getting evicted trying to afford it.
Yeah- the really sad thing is that as an inmate, he will get medical coverage for free. So the thing that would have kept him law abiding, he gets by committing a crime.
Some of the comments in that link are incredibly ignorant and insensitive. A lot of people don't realize just how screwed up healthcare is in the US. I expect things like this are going to be a lot more common.
