i'm union, which i used to think was a good thing. actually, with the way CVS treats it's salaried employees i think it *is* a good thing, but in areas that include production that entangle so many other facilities that *aren't* union it's pretty bad. strike for better benefits, strike for better pay - that's all well and good, but no one really seems to care how horribly it affects all the families of the little peripheral companies who now have no jobs because someone wanted a fair workplace. how is that fair to everyone else?

i understand that it's to get fair workplaces, but there has got to be a better way than that.

i'm sorry to hear that. man, you seem to be having just as bad luck as i am these days. i hope you get the apartment situation figured out.

we've decided to stay here in this shithole since our credit is fucked (right along side the rest of america), especially given all this strike bullshit. god only knows which company is going to strike and fuck us over next.
