when i was at the neurologist i was able to peak at my medical records and i noticed myelopathy mentioned quite often. now, read that link. does that not seem like something your should tell the patient?

so my question is this: how do you obtain a copy of your medical records? it would be nice to know what's going on with me instead of always having to answer "i don't know" when people ask what's wrong, or why am i limping, etc.

I was thinking that most places don't want to give them out for fear of lawsuits or you taking your business elsewhere. But yeah- I think they have to give them to you if you are insistent about it.

yeah I've gone through it before with a shrink so I know they're legally bound to give them to you if you present the correct paperwork. You can also get them via your health insurance.
