sooooooo i went to the back doc today.

i have to get a discogram since everything else failed so far.

if they find the damage they think is there then i get to do something called IDET (intradiscal electrothermal annuloplasty)

what the fuck ever dude. i'm hopeless i think.

in the meantime they upped my vicodin to vicodin ES. i'm happy to be in less pain, but not happy to be more fucked up all the time. maybe i'll start actually doing tricks on the BMX since i know it's not going to hurt, lol.


you should see the bruises i already have. they turned dark red and purple. joey said i'm still hardcore. i said i'm clumsy and stoned.

i know right? i've deduced that either a) they never even bothered to look at my medical history or b) i really am in that much pain.

i asked for ultram because that's supposed to be non habit forming and the lady kind of chucked and was like "that won't even touch your pain level, i'm afraid."

that's why i like this doctor though. she's pretty strait up. everyone has always pussyfooted around my injury like "well, it's really not all that bad" where she's just like "that is some of most horrible degeneration i've ever seen!" the old doc always said that my herniation (the old mri's) was minor, once again, when she looked at it she said that it was also one of the worst she's ever seen. she told me that there's no way in hell that they would have given me dilaudid if it "wasn't that bad." so i trust this lady to treat me right (well, as much as you can trust a doctor)

I'm pretty sure Ultram is habit forming, just from observing the behavior of someone I know who is on it. They run out and it's...scary.

She sounds like a cool doctor, I'm glad you have her. I hope they can figure this out because having to deal with all that crap AND the crazy is just bullshit.

someone once told me that ultram is what they give to ex-junkies but who knows. i love how they release pills into the public without even fully understanding what they do. jerks.

i like her so far, i just wish she was a general practitioner instead of pain management/orthopedic surgeon. she seems to think that my strange pains are trigger points, which she specializes in too.

and the crazy has been a bit out of control lately. once you think you have a handle on it is when it blows up, lol.
