we got rid of all the junk food in the house (well, anything that was really high calorie) and went to the grocery store to get better food to break our newly found bad habit of pre-pack foods that have 4 "servings" a package/can (like chips. most of those 99 cent "grab bags" are actually about 3 servings!!!). with me being down for the count we got lazy with the cooking. i usually do most if not all the cooking cuz i LOVE to, but not being able to stand for extended periods of time kinda put an end to that.
i am down to 130 :):):). i'm kind of glad that it's coming off slow though because that time when i dropped all that i gained (60 lbs) plus 20 extra lbs i was so freaking sick. all the time. and my hair fell out. 10 more lbs to the goal. still, 10 lbs in a month ain't bad at all.
and most of my professors this semester give off the vibe that they have so many things they'd rather be doing. one said "i really don't care if you come or not, i'll talk to an empty room for 50 minutes and not give a damn, i'm still getting paid so i could really care less if you're here." nice, right? another is blind and pretty much told us we don't need to come to class because she wouldn't know if we did or not and to just buy the book and stay home. another said they don't care if we buy the book or not because most students don't bother to even open them. yeah, that was the psych assessment teacher. these people make me realize why regular people fear psychologists.
way to encourage the next generation. maybe they're working on job security, lol.
