the day after columbine (i was a senior in high school) i was interrupted from a peaceful nap and police escorted out of history class with the only explanation being that i was a threat to the other students. i was directly linked to the trench coat mafia apparently.

then they fed us this bullshit about a website one of the middle school goth kids had that had a profile on the more "interesting" kids at field being a hate site. i happened to be listed on this site.

the ACLU swooped in and got us back into school by pointing out that most of us (there was originally 21 kids suspended) were harmless - good students even! at first the superintendent tried to get us to sign some bogus ass contract that said we wouldn't say words like "death, die, kill, etc." and that we would no longer wear the color black. those of us with dyed hair were to return it to a normal color. yeah, fuck that. that's when we called in the big dogs. 10 of the kids parents forced them to sign it, which left 11 of us expelled till we whooped their asses.

even though i'm not in high school anymore i'd definitely dawn the ridiculous getup just to piss off this lady. then i'd shit in her shoes and push it to the toes so she didn't know till foot deep.

call george bush, i'm a terrorist.

i honestly don't remember anyone congratulating those psychos in colorado, either. it's funny how twisted the story got. i just found a news article where we supposedly all got arrested that was in the local paper the night it all went down. that's news to me!

you know.. i was targeted by school authorities in 99, when i was a senior too. I wore a Natural borne Killers shirt with the "Newsweek" cover on the front, and the bands that made up the soundtrack on the back. nothing, nothing evil, columbine-esque or, anything. I was pulled out of the library (where i was reading) 10 days after columbine, and told that if i didnt 1) go home 2) change shirts 3) come back to school, i would be suspended. I asked why, they replied with the question "dont you know what happened in colorado", sooo i infered that what happened 2000 miles away, would happen because i wore a shirt (one that had been worn many times before).

Whats interesting, is that when my -mother- was called because i refused, that asked her if she knew what her son josh was wearing. josh, myh step brother 0.o. they confused us. how in the hell did THAT happen.

i asked to see who i had "offended" and wasnt allowed. i asked to see where i was breaking the rules, i wasnt allowed. I asked to see an ACLU lawyer, and was immediately sent back to class without an appology.

To this day, i am offended, and get angry whenever i think about it. I may not have been an A student, but i never made waves, even on the smokers triangle. Never got into trouble, never got suspeneded,..nothing. I love the way the world works.

Dr. Laura is an ignorant, hypocritical cunt. And I don't use that word lightly.

It is a shame that she has been given the ability to air her ignorance as widely as she can.

terrorist.

it was all bullshit. it was a gross over-exaggeration. blame the music, blame the poetry but god, don't blame the goddamn kids themselves! don't blame the people that tortured them on a daily basis! it's obviously marilyn manson's fault.

it's sad how as people grow up they forget how cruel children are to each other, ESPECIALLY in school. of course the tormentors usually have the best memories from those times because they didn't have someone constantly beating them down in the hallways... those people end up being the "scared" parents. maybe it's just another way of continuing the beat down.

amen. i wonder if it makes her feel all big and awesome to pick on little kids like that?

i'm not going to say it doesn't bother me, i battled some serious shit because of those little assholes in colorado (like being run off the road in my car by someone's PARENTS), but it *is* amusing to see some righteous nut job scramble to her high horse all because of some quirky little goth kids, lol. i wish i would have found this in high school, but i was too busy being amazed that we made time magazine.

Oh yeah- she gets to insult complete strangers that she will never met, and let everyone of her readers know that they can feel superior to them.

I'm seriously afraid of having kids and having to worry about how to deal with the administration that will likely take legal action against them for being unique and intelligent.
