so, i've worked every single holiday since i started at this stupid fucking store. i raised this point to my boss when he said no one was allowed to request off halloween. i pointed out that i've dealt with working every fucking holiday while everyone else gets to go be with their families, and halloween is a holiday that actually means something to me for the fun silliness of it, and dude - just look at me - how many skull tattoos do i have?! i requested it off because a) one of my med dosages is going up tomorrow and i will be the walking dead and b) it's fucking halloween.

guess who works tomorrow.

i've already left a message at the union office that i am not allowed a day that i requested off for medical purposes. we'll see who wins this fight. i'll fucking work halloween you piece of shit, just like i've worked EVERY OTHER FUCKING HOLIDAY. princess new shift supervisor that came from a different store got a jewish holiday off because - HER BOYFRIEND IS JEWISH, not her. but i can't get a holiday that is OBVIOUSLY A BIG DEAL TO ME off. THE ONLY ONE THAT I'VE EVER EVEN ASKED FOR OFF! hey, my significant other is a satanist, doesn't that count for anything?

so yeah, i'm going to go ahead and let the union in on this, and the fact that i still have yet to get my pay raise for becoming a shift (neither has the other shift that got promoted in may), as well as many other things i'm sure they'll be happy to know, such as his art of manipulating payroll so that he doesn't go over budget by using people's sick days and vacation time instead of work hours and shaving off time here and there - one of the cashiers noticed and was NOT happy about losing hours. how he never lets anyone do anything that has something to do with the books... yeah, we're about to dance motherfucker.

the best part is? he can't fire me over it. i'm protected by the union under the whistleblower clause. i've already started applying for other jobs non-the-less because i know they're going to make my life even more of a hell, but this is just bullshit, all the things he's been doing. i don't even feel like typing it all out though i'm sure i'll have to in an official statement.


i'm so damn angry.

oh yeah, and i figured out why my hours suddenly went down just barely under 30 - i became eligible for health insurance again (part time this time) as of october but i had to carry at least 30 hours... as of october first i dropped down to 24-29 hour weeks. yeah, that wasn't on purpose or anything. fucking cock.

no one else really has the balls. the other shift is the type that is always "i guess it's not really that bad" but will bitch his head off when it's going on and the new shift from the other store gets whatever she wants so i doubt she's got anything to complain about, cunt that she is.

sounds good to go to the union, but i might leave out the boyfriend is a satanist bit...lots of people still attach that stigma of virgin sacrifices, and bloody rituals to the religion and, well, i just dont think thats gonna do you the good you want....good luck though, thats a bunch of bull.
