i'm going to get back at my boss for being such an asshole by being a regular employee.
see, yesterday we got into a shouting match over something ridiculous. i was training a new girl while a tech was fixing the photo machine. the tech asked me where something was just as the boss walks up so i show him, but it isn't there, then he flips out (boss) and starts yelling "SHE IS PRIORITY ONE (the new girl)! DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON BACK THERE, YOU STAY UP HERE WITH HER! SHE IS PRIORITY ONE!" and anytime i tried to tell him i was showing the tech where something is the screaming got louder. to which i replied "then you go work with the tech because i can't be three places at once (watching new girl, helping tech, arguing with braying jackass)" jackass goes to deal with tech, tech fucks with him because he caught the whole exchange (quite comical actually) and boss gets more pissed.
so then the new shift comes in, who's best friend this new person is. this is also the girl that came in from out of nowhere asking for a day off that the other shift and i have been asking for off for months and got it just like that. she's also already got her certification and raise, which the other shift and i have been waiting for for 4 months. so i'm thinking "hey, i finally don't have to stand behind the register now (at this point my knees are already starting to give out)."
nope.
he assigns her all the work i normally do, tells me that it was "previously agreed upon (by who?!?!)" that i would stand up front and watch this new chick. now, i've told this asshole i've been having serious problems with my joints and that standing in one place for 8 hours strait makes it 239875o34987643982764598427698756139874562876453i87677645387 times worse.
i've sat him down and had serious discussions about it with him. i've told him about my spine injury and how standing in one place too long puts a lot of pressure on the disk and pinched nerves and makes my leg go numb. he KNOWS all of this. he knows this is why i took the job he offered me because i was about to quit otherwise. this is how i know he did this out of spite.
so he brags to everyone about what a model employee i am and what an outstanding job i do, how amazing i am. from now on i'm sub-par at best and i am going to be as unpleasant as humanly possible. he's already proven that he's too chicken-shit to fire anyone so i know i'm safe there, and if he actually grows some balls , well then i've got a few things the union might want to know about his work ethics and practices. especially about his two "shifts" that are actually just cashiers that he gives shift duties to. we're technically not even allowed to be closing the store because we aren't certified.
i hate that place now. it wasn't all that bad before. i'm going to make sure he hates it even more.
