2005 was a terrible, terrible year.

but there was one wonderful thing that has flourished during the mess of it. one thing that helped me through these last few months of the sheer emotional hell of losing my best friend AND the love of my life, moving to a town i hate, moving my life back four years....

one thing that will always warm my heart no matter how icy and cold i swear it is...

MY NEPHEW!!!!

this is him dancing. any time you put on certain kinds of music the little shit boogies his little butt off.

whenever he sees me he stomps and whines until i sit on the ground and put my arms out then he gets a running start and tackle-hugs me with a fit of giggles. then drools all over me. kind of like a puppy. who needs antidepressants when you have that?!

He's DAMNED cute. And I don't use the term loosely when it comes to those noisy little things.

he's really not that noisy believe it or not. i hate children but he's abnormally well behaved. i think that means he's going to be a holy terror when he gets older.

heh, yeah, that theory is probably true... people used to compliment my parents all the time on how polite i was at that age.

Very cute little guy :)

My niece and nephew are the same way with music, though Tori is more of a butt wiggler when it comes to dancing :)

Last time I saw him, my nephew keep talking about his new video game moves and the songs he is learning at school :)

well yeah them too, lol. those fuckers have kept me alive at times.

miette, the newest one, had never seen me full on sob before. so when i did she was terrified that i was dying and was pawing at me and mewing bloody murder. of course i started laughing.
