kent state rejected my financial aid appeal because i got an F my first year of college. and F i am correcting in summer semester. seriously, wtf?

now the mad rush to find financial aid. this will be fun.

i feel they were stretching for any reason at all to deny me. aid is so tight right now they don't want to come off of anything. to my understanding ohio already ran out of grant money, not that i qualify for any grants anyways cuz we made too much money last year.

they said it was "due to my history of unsatisfactory grades." okay, i have one F from 2001. I have a D from 2001 and I have an SF from 2008 because for some reason the class didn't drop when i withdrew because of the spine fusion. that's IT. all of which i've already enrolled to take care of with rule of repeat. meaning - after fall semester, those grades don't even exist anymore. i really don't get it. my credit sucks so i really don't know wtf to do now, but i'm sure i'll figure something out. i have, um... two weeks to do it?

even funnier is - i discussed with you yesterday how high my grade point average is both overall and in my major. how the FUCK did they pull THIS out of their asses?!?
