i don't understand how percocet can work if all i do is puke when i take it. please let the dr give me phenergan so i can function again (stoned as i shall be since i won't be throwing up the percocet)
I've had that problem off and on with Percocet. If you let it desolve in liquid then drink it, you won't barf. I put 1 in a cup and add enough hot water to melt it, then add some cold water, do a shot, then rinse out the cup and drink some orange juice or something like that. That should help you. :o)
Just in case you weren't aware, phenergan is in the same class of drugs as thorazine and mellaril and whatnot (whee old-school anti-psychotics), so if you have any tendency toward movement disorders or anything, watch out for it.
phenergan is just what i always take for nausea because of it's anti-histamine effects. they ended up giving me zofran instead. to my understanding that's a chemo anti-nausea drug so it damn well better work, lol.
i can't drink orange juice with my adderall cuz it makes it work less good for some weird reason. i got some zofran to ease the upchuck, tho i've been a little too gun-shy to take the percocet, i've just been popping tylenol 3's.
Yeah, I was on phenergan for years because of vomiting and allergies, I think that's why I have the movement disorder now. And nobody warned me! I could kick that doctor in the face.
