so my patience paid off!!

not only are the mechanics *still* working on the power steering pump (note: they have been struggling to figure out how to replace the pulley all this time. between how much money they've racked up with almost an entire extra week's worth of labor along with having to order the part outside of their regular orders because they "forgot" to order it when they ordered the rest of what they needed, it costs just about as much as just buying a whole goddamn new power steering pump and putting it on, which they know how to do), but they're still struggling with replacing the motor mount, which is exactly what they were working on when i went to the shop to get the car seat out of the car ALMOST TWO GODDAMN WEEKS AGO.

seriously, i think they're trying to milk the insurance company for every last cent they can get out of them at the expense of my freedom, my ability to get to doctor's appointments, my ability to transport my stepson in a vehicle that is safe and road worthy and my ability to make it to classes (especially when joey's car wont start and i sit in the parking lot for a half hour trying to get it going so i can get to my next class, and by the time the car is running there's only 15 minutes left in said class). i'm so glad i could help line their pockets while they jerk off and pretend that new problems keep popping up. i think that they should establish better communication because all the "new" problems they keep having are the exact same "new" problems they've had before, it's just someone different telling me. the guy i talked to on saturday told me that my car sat there for a week before anyone even looked at it, and that no one had any idea where it came from so they just ignored it. A WEEK!

i swear i'm going to pick up my car packing heat if it's ever finished.

ok this is just jacked up. tell them to either fix it by a specific time or date OR have them incur the cost of transporting it to a different repair shop at no charge to you for labor already performed or transpo. costs. be done with it.

it's a "progressive preferred" shop is the major kicker.

thing is, all i have to pay is that mammoth-ass deductible that i had to take out a loan for so anything that happens financially beyond $1000 is not an issue, what's the issue is the length of time and multiple fuckups. i'm getting at the very end of my patience with these people.
