here i sit in my post-surgery back brace. i just swallowed my first dose of muscle relaxer about a half hour ago. the palm of my right hand is sore from ambling around with my cane across campus, and my car is reflecting a special parking pass for the newly disabled so i can get to my classes.

this can't be happening again. i need to go to bed.
