the pain is almost like an old blanket from ages ago. i wrap myself up in it and feel the bitterness sinking in as i gear up for another 5 year experiment of 6 inch long needles, gallon bottles of pain medications, blurred out memories - entire years lost to the mind-bending pain and hatred for being alive. its been a while, and my run of decent health was so short. it's hardly fair, i don't think. not one goddamn bit.

well... here we go again. step one - primary care physician.
