how the rest of the world is dealing with the high oil prices

the article basically breaks down the issue by area of the world. some people are rioting, some people (like us) are busting out the vaseline and taking a bow.

i found the summery of the middle east very interesting. thoughts anyone?

They offered the 4 day work week to Jim. He was going to do it, but they chose someone else. He takes the bus anyways. Spends $60 a month for a pass, I think.

My mom made an interesting prediction that perhaps my son's children might live in a world much like the pioneer days, but with minimal electricity. She said some more shit but I forget at the moment.
