You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

2. Age: 27.5... 30 here i come!
3. Location: kent, ohio
4. Occupation: shift supervisor/manager at CVS. glamourous i know. i'm about to be the senior ranking one too. hooray for more responsibility. it basically involves 8-10 hours of running around like a chicken with my head cut off, resetting shelves, solving every.little.problem that reveals itself during my shift, counting/maintaining drawers, getting yelled at by angry customers, making snap decisions that aren't always correct, maintaining stock movement and all the other fun stuff you don't really think about when you're shopping at stores and just sort of expect everything to be on the shelves and in neat order. oh, and i don't get paid to put stuff back when you decide you don't want it and set down your mascara in the candy bins, it's just a perk...
5. Spouse: none, yet. i have my joey who would stand by my side through hell and back, and i'd do the same. he was one of my first friends when i moved to brimfield, and we were always very close all through our childhoods. whenever i just got the shit knocked out of me by my mum or something else horrible, i'd just jump on my skateboard and go over to his house where everything just seemed to get better. we lost touch for a while, but after years upon years of searching for him i tracked him down on myspace. we were both at the end of our respective relationships and sort of supported each other through that and everything else that was going on in our lives. eventually after becoming inseparable once again (just like the old days) and much examination of pros and cons we decided we would work out as a couple, so we went for it and haven't looked back :)
6. Kids: a wonderful little step-son who is impossible not to fall in love with. he's the sweetest little boy i have ever met.
7. Brothers/Sisters: i have an older brother, bob, who's 30. he's a real asshole in every sense of the term. he's a multiple felon and treats his girlfriend like shit, but she stays anyways. i tolerate him because that's what you do with family. i have a half brother who i pretty much don't admit to. i would say i've disowned him but i'm not quite sure how it works. the poor kid never had a chance, his mother coddled him beyond fixing (including not allowing him to attend school because that was "too much" for him), and has pretty much brainwashed him to hate everything that isn't her. i'm fairly certain he's going to be a serial killer.
8. Pets: orion, a massive gray and white short hair persian mix who is the most retarded thing on the planet/ miette, and orange tabby with a tiger tail that poofs up when she's happy. she's also the sweetest little kitty you'll ever meet/ nadjia, a long-hair lavender-point siamese with one eye. she is the most quirky and bizarre cat i have ever owned
9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life: busting my ass to finish my undergrad so i can move onto grad school since a psych BA is pretty much useless for what i want to do, working all.the.time, fighting with arthritis that is starting to cripple me to some extent when it's really bad, enjoying my nice and normal - and HEALTHY - relationship with a man i am madly in love with
10. Where and for what did you go to school for? KSU for psychology and maybe conflict management. as for grad school, i still dunno.
11. Parents? dad is the oldest of 7. he's got MS really bad as well as a plethora of other health issues. he's in the middle of a divorce right now because we were all scared for his life living down there (about 2 hours away) with a wife and son who were just waiting for him to die so they could have all his money/business and so forth. he's an old codger, says the damnedest things since he's reached the old guy life marker where you don't give a shit about what you say. it's often very comical.
mom is the youngest of 4. she's... mom. she used to be an abusive alcoholic, but she's about 9 years sober now. i don't think she remembers even half of the horrible things she did/said to me, or she just chooses to forget. she's a pagan witchy type that firmly believes in her spells. she knows everything about everything, just ask her. i try to stay away from her because she just maddens me to no end.
