the surgeon's secretary called this morning. after a week of me begging they're going to try to find a different opener/closer. she called to find out when the first day of classes was because i'd expressed that i wanted to do this before then, and doc said i can't go back for three weeks so i wanted to get it done next week at the latest. keep in mind i've been trying to get in since the 12th. i hope they find someone, i'm sick of this. i'm actually very far beyond sick of this.

i'll be able to tie my shoes soon.... hopefully!
