poppop's funeral is tomorrow. i had to explain to my boss why i can't work the 4-12 shift and then come home, hop in my car and tear ass out to philly, get changed and then go to a funeral. i don't understand what's so hard to get about that.
so i switched shifts with robb, who's always willing to work with me on this type of shit. i'm not doing anything school related today, the last day of the semester. i've contacted instructors and whatnot and let everyone know what's up. now i have to work 8-4 but at least i'll have a little daylight. i shouldn't have to work at all according to the union book. i get 3 funeral days, and if it's more than 500mi one way (and it is) i get an extra day. i'm bringing this up to him when i get there to see if i can get out early. he usually gets nervous when you mention the union cuz he never follows the rules. sorry 'bout your luck buddy.
