issue one passed. fuck that. so now i must tell all my gay friends that i am more human than them. i keep thinking about my uncle and his boyfriend. they've been together almost 40 years, the family refers to them as uncle john and aunt gary... uncle john had to have open heart surgery a few years back and has since had to claim bankruptcy due to harassment from medical bills. aunt gary has full benefits from the firm he works for. it doesn't matter tho, cuz apparently uncle john is only half human. half human with otherwise perfect credit until he couldn't share his life-partner's benefits, even though they've been together longer than most married couples and raised two perfectly good adopted children who are now successful contributions to modern society...

and why isn't anyone talking about the metroparks issue? i haven't heard whether it passed or failed. updates anyone?

i'm not surprised that bush has america by the balls again. it's a sad day tho... the country is run by bush, dick and colin and we don't have a condom big enough to protect us from their disease.

so now i need to worry about my fiance' getting a post card telling him where he can show up to go get shot at. now i need to worry about my health benefits and if they're even going to be there at all when i have to get my final knee surgery. and what about my birth control? if we're not allowed to make choices about our own bodies, how long is it until the good ol catholic motif of no birth control sets in? i know that sounds extremest, but come on! i'm only allowed ONE pelvic exam a year as it is because it's not a necessary examination. NOT NECESSARY?!?!?!

so what about evilshell, lucidrebellion and anmorta's ballets? do they mean nothing? what kind of man was kerry if he let all of the absentee and provisional ballets go uncounted? perhaps he wasn't who we needed in office... BUT NEITHER IS THIS YAYHOO!!! why doesn't karl rove just fucking run for office instead of making his monkey do it. if i have to sit through one more press conference about "spatial entrepreneurs" or how we "misunderestimate" him my head will explode.

this rant got a lot longer than i intended, perhaps its the vicodin. HEY!! maybe i DIDN'T vote yesterday and the vicodin just made me THINK i did!!!
