so yeah, last time i got my oil changed it was a few hundred miles before i was supposed to. apparently scions have a built in indicator (i.e. the MAINT. REQUIRED LIGHT!!!!!!!!!1!11111) that lets you know when 5,000 miles have passed since your last oil change. now, my last oil change wasn't at the dealership because i wasn't near the dealership when i decided to get it done. i guess the guys at the place i went to didn't know that you have to reset the light when you're done changing the oil - hence light coming on and scaring the shit out of me. i looked up how to reset the light and it won't reset if there's a problem that needs attended to. it reset. crisis averted. i will now stop shitting kittens. savage henry will live to see another day.
