apartment hunting seems futile with shitty credit.

why don't they look at rental history? isn't that a more accurate measure of how a tenant will be?

you should look for apts in houses where they're less likely to care about your shitty credit. Although, I did have to pay a whole years rent in advance once because I didn't have a job.

we've decided to stay in this shitty place due to all the recent events. it looks like i'm going to have to tap into the nest egg i built up for moving.

that sucks.. it's too bad you can't move back to lakewood, but the drive to/from class would be killer.

i loved lakewood and really miss it. i totally wouldn't mind moving back. the cost of living is so much cheaper there than here too. i'm applying to case for grad school (as well as a few other places) so i might be able to come back :)

i've got a big box of trash bags to rain-proof it too. we can send our animals out to hunt/gather and trade trendy goth clothes for food!
