i'm getting a facet joint injection and medial branch block done today, the first of 3 for three consecutive weeks. i didn't really seem to care until last night when i realized i'm getting giant needles jammed into my spine while i'm wide awake with nothing more than valium to chill me out. at least whatever they gave me for the pain blocks a few years ago knocked me the fuck out, but i guess i have to be awake to tell them how i feel or whatever. fun fun fun. i'm sure everything will be okay, but i don't have to be awake for another 2 hours and i'm wide the fuck awake after going to bed at 2 if that tells you anything about my terror level...

at least for this first one i'll have joey there. the next two will be my mum... i'm not allowed to drive to or from these stupid things. i hope they work, i hope to god they work. i miss the little things in life, you know, like being able to bend over and tie my own shoes and putting pants on without having to lay on my back on the bed and put my legs in the air, lol. oh, and lifting anything over 5 lbs! that will be strange to be able to do again.

wow, it's 7 goddamn AM and someone is blaring rap from a car. so loud that i thought it was my neighbors. those are the people that when you try to ask them questions in the store you get "you say what?"

okay, i'm rambling. i'm going to go take a shower to try to calm my nerves before i have to go to class then get stabbed.

lido 1%...yeaaaa..i guess. Lido is good because it lasts longer but isnt as strong as Marcaine...holy hell i cant type today. This had to take like 3 minutes.

Kenalog is decent stuff as well...you know, as i think about it, you may want to hit ebay up for a Tarascon pocket pharmacopeia. I use it all the time at work with the DX/TX of my plans.

i'll check that out, with the medi-go-round that is my life it couldn't hurt to have that chillin on my desk (which is the spillover from my brain, lolz)

i gotta say, it was weird to see a needle in my bones (i got to watch). i didn't feel too much in the way of numbing though cuz that fucker hurt!
