so we were looking to adopt a new kitty and i inquired about one at a rescue foster home. turns out she's already been adopted but she informed me of a shelter in licking county that is in desperate need of adopters. the shelter is a gassing facility and they are overrun with cats.
i'm just gonna cut and paste the email:
The majority of the cats have been vaccinated with a 4-way or will be prior to transport.... and seem to be pretty healthy!!
Please, can your rescue help just one of them??
IF YOU LIVE IN LICKING COUNTY (OR CLOSE) PLEASE VISIT THE SHELTER & SAVE A LIFE... AT THE VERY LEAST, PLS CROSS POST THIS TO ANYONE YOU KNOW THAT LOVES CATS & MIGHT HELP!!

BEAUTIFUL CATS!!!! PLEASE, just look at some of these sweet faces......
This is an EXTREMELY high-kill gassing facility & these cats need rescued ASAP as the shelter gets in far more cats than they can place...... and the euth rate for cats is very high.
You can always email me if there is a specific cat you’re interested in and I can contact the individual who sent this email

"Katia" 1-1/2 yrs old, female, shy but very sweet
